The National Outbreak Reporting System (NORS) is a web-based platform that launched in 2009. It is used by local, state, and territorial health departments in the United States to report all waterborne and foodborne disease outbreaks and enteric disease outbreaks transmitted by contact with environmental sources, infected persons or animals, or unknown modes of transmission to CDC. OSX/Linker came to light in May 2019. It exploited a zero-day vulnerability in Gatekeeper to install malware. The 'MacOS X GateKeeper Bypass' vulnerability had been reported to Apple back in. The zero-day flaw affects both the current stable Mac version OS X 10.10 (build 10.10.4) and the recent Beta build OS X 10.10.5 (Yosemite). Good news for Mac users who are running Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan Beta builds, as it appears that they are not affected by the zero-day flaw. The zero-day vulnerability exists in all versions of OS X including El Capitan. But it has been addressed in the latest update to the operating system (OS X 10.11.4) that Apple announced March 21. KeyStealDaemon – A macOS 0-Day Password Thief An exploit leveraging a macOS zero day, CVE-2019-8526, found in February and plugged in March appeared on VirusTotal in mid-June. The zero day which Apple patched in all versions of the OS back to 10.12.6 Sierra allows a malicious application to gain elevated privileges.
